Metal Mania
-------- Do you love the look of ancient patinas in
metal? How about the pitted, slightly rusted and metallic look of Raku?
Judikins and I have come up with a wonderful new product for making
"aged" elements without the mess of the chemical process or
the invasive nature of real rust.
In
addition, the unique thermal powders are archival and are perfect for use on
polymer clay, jewelry, art journals and scrap booking. Join us as
we stamp on aluminum, cut out and model the pieces and then treat them
to a veneer of fabulous texture making your new art look like you just
found it in the smallest closet in the back of the museum.
Please bring a
heat gun, a pair of scissors for cutting thin metal
shim, an awl to punch into the metal, a stylus for dry embossing, a
black Staz-on inkpad. I will provide all other
materials for this class.
